225/40R18 Tires Canada

In 225/40R18, 225 is the tire's width in millimetres, 40 is the sidewall height as a percentage of that width, R means radial construction, and 18 is the wheel diameter in inches. You can find your current size on the tire sidewall and on the placard inside the driver's door jamb.

The full size on your sidewall also ends with a load index and speed rating, such as 94H. Choose tires that match or exceed the ratings on your vehicle's door jamb placard.
